Johnson-Family

bryan johnson coat of armsI believe in the Johnson family as a family established by God, for God, whose principles are derived by the Word of God; a strong family of many strong individuals for which parents, grandparents and loved ones have given their time and lives. A family established upon the principles of honesty, love, integrity, and a personal walk with God.I therefore believe it is my duty to God and my family to love them, to support their principles, to obey their rules, and to defend them from all enemies. I will love God, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and seek Godly wisdom.

My name is Bryan Johnson. I was born in 1974, six weeks after my parents, Dan and Gerri Johnson, arrived in Brazil for the first time. My mother led me to the Lord on a Wednesday night in July of 1978, when I was four years old. While still in grade school, God called me to Brazil. In 1995 I married my high school sweetheart, Rebekah. In May, 2000, I graduated from Bible College. While at college I saw hundreds of people saved and taught a Sunday school class. The Lord has given Rebekah and me three wonderful children, Jeff, David, and Lee. Together we are serving our Lord, Jesus Christ, as second-generation missionaries in Brazil.

Hello, my name is Rebekah Johnson. I was blessed to be born in a Christian home. God also allowed me to attend a Christian school for my entire education. I was actively involved in my home church in various ministries. It is my greatest delight and honor to be wife to Bryan Johnson and mother to our 3 wonderful sons. I am a home school mom and I love it. When I am not teaching my boys or caring for my wonderful husband, I keep busy teaching the children’s class and choir at church. I enjoy playing the piano and flute for our services. At home my favorite hobby is to scrapbook.

JeffJeff Johnson. Jeff enjoys playing the trumpet and teaching himself to play other instruments. Jeff plays the trumpet for the services here in Brazil. He also leads the singing for the services every Sunday morning. Jeff is an active participant in the teen choir and loves to sing. Jeff has a real ability to learn languages and has been a great help in translating books and music for our ministry in Brazil. He feels God has called him into full-time Christian Service, particularly as a missionary, and is praying for God’s exact direction for his life.

David2David Johnson. David is our active outgoing middle son. David’s favorite place is outdoors. David also enjoys his music. He plays his soprano sax for the services here in Brazil. He is beginning to lead the singing and has trained to help with the children’s choir. David sings with the teen choir and is an excellent bass. He is doing well in school. David has surrendered his life to the Lord for full-time Christian Service.

LeeLee Johnson. Lee is our youngest son. Lee enjoys playing around at anything. He loves to care for his dog, Bo. Lee plays his clarinet for our services and enjoys singing with both the children and the teens. Lee is a great joy and connects with children in a wonderful way.
